Subwoofer II is the Washington HPS’s newest competition submarine, designed with a focus on modularity, reliability, and performance. Featuring interchangeable mechanical and electronic control systems, an advanced counter rotating propulsion system, and an improved carbon fiber hull, Subwoofer II represents the culmination of a year's worth of design, manufacturing, testing, and collaboration by more than 100 HPS members.

In its international debut, Subwoofer II earned 3rd Overall at the 2026 European International Submarine Races (eISR).
